Only FixIT Plus versions
6.5B thru 7.0A are year 2000 compliant. All other
versions will remove data containing dates greater than
year 2000. For compliance of FixIT to year 2000, the
check for invalid dates beyond 1999 has been removed. A
common error in data entry was to enter '09' for the year
vs. '98'. FixIT will allow the year of '09' as well as
'00'. FixIT will correctly verify data for supported applications and versions in the year 2000. FixIT does NOT verify an application to be Year 2000 compliant. In order for FixIT to be Year 2000 compliant, the ACCPAC Windowing System Manager must be version 6.1A (with 990205 patch) or version 6.5A or greater and each application must be Year 2000 compliant. - FixIT Plus will not correct Year 2000 problems caused by Non-Y2K compliant applications. |
